How Do I Prepare for My Consultation?

Checklist of what to have ready: medication list, lab results, questions, and technical setup.

How Do I Prepare for My Consultation?

A little preparation helps your consultation go smoothly and ensures your doctor has everything needed to help you.

Before your appointment

  1. Complete your health questionnaire. Answer all questions honestly and thoroughly, this helps your doctor understand your health history.

  2. List your current medications. Include prescription medications, over-the-counter drugs, vitamins, and supplements.

  3. Gather any relevant lab results. If you have recent blood work or other test results, have them ready to share.

  4. Write down your questions. Note anything you want to ask about the treatment, side effects, or process.

Technical preparation

  • Find a quiet, private space where you can speak freely

  • Use a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi is better than mobile data)

  • Test your camera and microphone beforehand

  • Have your device charged or plugged in

  • Close other apps that might interfere with your video call

  • If you're using a mobile phone, please download Google Meet on your iOS or Android Phone

What to expect

Your consultation will be via Google Meet and typically lasts 15 minutes. Your doctor will review your information, ask questions, and discuss whether treatment is right for you.
