Every &you treatment starts with a consultation with a licensed doctor. Here's how it works.
Exploratory consultation (before ordering)
If you're new to &you and want to speak with a doctor before committing to treatment, you can book an initial consultation for a fee.
If your doctor prescribes treatment and you decide to continue, the cost is 100% credited to your medication so you're essentially paying nothing extra for the consultation.
This is designed for people who want to explore their options before purchasing, have questions about which treatment is right for them, or aren't sure if they're eligible for GLP-1 treatment.
Is the fee refundable?
If you book but don't proceed with the consultation, the cost is refundable. Once your consultation takes place, the fee is non-refundable, whether or not you're approved for treatment. This covers the doctor's time and clinical assessment. If you are approved and choose to continue, the fee is credited to your medication.
Consultations included with your order
If you place an order (subscription or one-time purchase), a consultation is already included. You don't pay the consultation fee separately, it's built into your order.
First, complete your health questionnaire and where you’ll be directed to the treatment plan best suited for you. Check out your treatment duration and then book your consultation after payment. Your medication is only prepared and shipped after your doctor approves your prescription.
Consultation options
Chat consultation: Available immediately after checkout, from the checkout page. For new customers (initial screening only).
Video consultation (Google Meet): Book anytime through your account page. For new and returning customers.
If you're a new customer, you can choose either option for your initial screening. Returning customers who need follow-up consultations should book a video consultation through their account page.
Consultations for returning customers
If you're already an &you patient, you have unlimited access to our doctors through your Care Plan. Book a consultation anytime through your account page to discuss dosage adjustments, ask questions about side effects, get guidance on your treatment progress, or request a prescription update.
Before your consultation
Place your order first - consultations are scheduled after you complete your order and health questionnaire
Complete your health questionnaire honestly and thoroughly
Have a list of any medications you're currently taking
Prepare any recent lab results if you have them
Find a quiet, private space with stable internet
If you're using a mobile phone, no need to download any software. Click the link sent in your email or chat message. If prompted to download the mobile app, close the prompt or switch your browser to the desktop version.
During your consultation
Your doctor will join you via Chat or Google Meet video call. The consultation typically takes 15 minutes. Your doctor will:
Review your health history and goals
Ask follow-up questions about your medical background
Discuss treatment options and potential side effects
Answer any questions you have
Determine if medication is appropriate for you
After your consultation
If approved: Your prescription is processed and your order ships within 1-2 business days.
If lab tests needed: A prescription will be uploaded on your account page on what tests to complete.
