Is My Medication Still Safe to Use?

How to check if your medication is safe: what to look for and when to contact us.

Here's how to determine if your medication is safe to use.

Your medication is safe to use if

  • No particles or cloudiness visible

  • The vial is intact with no cracks or leaks

  • It has been stored properly in the refrigerator

About temperature during shipping

If your package was not cold upon arrival and the ice pack was melted, there is no need to worry. The medication is shelf-stable and remains effective even if it has warmed during transit. It can tolerate temperatures up to 35°C for 4 days and up to 25°C for 15 days without impacting its efficacy.

Do NOT use your medication if

  • The liquid appears cloudy or discolored

  • You see particles floating in the solution

  • The vial is cracked, damaged, or leaking

  • The medication was frozen (ice crystals visible)

  • The seal appears tampered with

When in doubt

If you're unsure whether your medication is safe to use, don't use it. Contact us with a photo of the medication and we'll advise you.
